We were excited to have a soft opening last Monday. So far so good. We are off to a good start. It was fun to see so many friendly faces, even behind those masks.
We will maintain the same hours this next week. Here is a quick recap.
In Park City, we will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday. In Heber, we will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Thank you for moderating your visits! We were able to process through all of our donations just fine. For this upcoming week, we are ready for whatever you have and feel free to come any day between the hours we are open.
We are ready for you!
Note: We will be resuming pickups starting on Monday, May 18th.
Food Pantries (PC and Heber)
We will continue operating from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Our food pantry will remain by appointment, through signing up online here. Note: Our food pantry is no longer a “drive-through”, we are allowing clients to come into the pantry, one at a time. Our guests will be asked to wear masks as well.
Our Stores (PC and Heber)
Our hours will remain from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We have some great deals for you since we are unveiling all of our new spring items! We will continue observing social distancing, and only allowing a certain amount of people into the stores at one time, as well as providing regular cleanings to keep the store as clean and safe as possible.
All staff will be wearing masks. We ask all customers to wear masks as well while shopping. Thanks in advance!
CCPC’s Office
Our hours will continue to be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We will be open to the public, while still observing social distancing and allowing only a certain number of people in at a time. We do ask that all guests arriving at the office wear masks while being inside the office.
CCPC’s Mental Health Counseling
May is Mental Health Awareness month and we want you to know: you are not alone.
Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. Join us this month as we seek to raise awareness about mental health, fight stigma, provide support and education, and offer help to those in need.
CCPC’s Counseling and Wellness Center has professional counselors and wellness coaches who are here for you, to meet your needs and help you navigate your unique challenges. We are still offering two free sessions to new clients from now until June 1, with our counselors Katie Thomas and Katie Noelck.
Contact Heather today to learn more. She can assist in getting you scheduled during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.). You can call 435-649-2260 ext. 1 or email Heather at counseling@ccofpc.org.
Providing Food & Rent Assistance
Quick Update On The Numbers
Here is a quick update as to how many people we are serving through our food pantry and basic needs assistance.
Basic Needs Assistance:
We have paid 687 bills, helping over 470 families and distributing $260,708 so far. We have already started cutting checks for a second round of helping with bills (rent, power, utility bills, etc.).
Food Pantry:
This week we served 917 individuals(554 Park City, 363 Heber), 269 households and 15 cats and dogs!
Plus we were so thankful for the Park City Rotary club who helped gather around 8,000 pounds of food last weekend. Thank you!
We Are Scheduling Volunteers Again
It is with great joy that we are once again scheduling volunteers in our food pantry and stores!
If you are interested in volunteering, are not experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, do not have any known risk factors and are over the age of 16, please use the following links to sign up for a shift.
Please note that all CCPC pantry and store staff will be following recommended guidelines for safety by wearing masks and gloves and regularly sanitizing surfaces etc.
Volunteers will not be asked to interact with the public unless they feel comfortable doing so. While we are re-opening slowly, we want to keep the health and safety of our teams and guests as our number one priority.
