How You Can Support Those Most Impacted by This Outbreak
Food
In an effort to reduce exposure points, instead of having people drop off food, we are asking for financial support that will enable us to purchase items in bulk to be distributed through our food pantry, for the health of both our staff and guests, while allowing us to continue to feed and support families.
If you can donate financially to our food pantry, please select “Food Pantry” when donating online.
Basic Needs
We also anticipate many of the families we serve will experience an increase in need, financial and otherwise, even after the crisis ends.
You can help with these needs through giving through our Basic Needs Assistance fund. This fund allows us to help people with things like
covering rent for a month, utility bills, medical costs, power bills, etc.
If you are able to donate to the Basic Needs Assistance fund, please select “Basic Needs Assistance” when donating online.

First of all, we want to say THANK YOU for your heart and interest to help our community, especially those who are most affected by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. We have received a number of questions about how individuals can best support CCPC and those we serve during this time.
CCPC will continue to provide essential services to our community while prioritizing the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers, and guests.
In order to honor the direction from the state and local governments, we are supporting ‘social distancing’. Therefore, we kindly discourage individuals from bringing donations of items to the Christian Center in an effort to reduce exposure points. Instead, we are asking for financial support that will enable us to purchase items in bulk to be distributed through our food pantry that will limit exposure points for the health of staff and guests while allowing us to continue to feed and support families.
Please consider supporting our Food Pantry or Snacks in Backpacks programs.
We also anticipate many of the families we serve will experience increased needs, financial and otherwise, even after the crisis ends. Your contribution will help us continue to meet these needs through our Basic Needs Assistance fund. This allows us to help cover rent for a month, utility bills, medical costs, power bills, etc. Donations given to this fund will go directly to help people with these critical needs.
Please designate “Food Pantry,” “Snacks in Backpacks” or “Basic Needs Assistance” using the drop-down menu on our giving form.
