In 2003, the CCPC staff became inundated with international student workers in need of housing, home goods, winter clothes, and food among other things. So our ExecutiveDirector decided to start making connections with resorts and apartment complexes, in order to be in distributing mattresses, winter clothing and other furniture items.
Through this outreach and ongoing connection, CCPC soon started what we now call: Tuesday Nite Dinners. Our goal with our weekly Tuesday Nite Dinners has always been to create a safe place to have a great time through providing food, games, prizes and entertainment in order that these international and seasonal workers would feel at home in Park City while they are here.
Almost twenty years later, Tuesday Nite Dinners (TND) is still a thriving annual series and our heart to meet international workers at their point of need is still strong.
Also, as we seek to celebrate 20 years of CCPC’s work, we are seeking out stories and photos that you may have from your experience with CCPC over the years. If you have a story or a photo you would like to share, please send it to Jessica, by sending her an email at jessica@ccofpc.org.
Thanks in advance! #CCPC20YEARS
