The Christian Center of Park City is pleased to bring a thought-provoking exhibit of original paintings by artist Lamont Joseph White to the Gathering Space at CCPC.

As part of this event, on Tuesday, December 2, a virtual panel discussion on the topic of race and snow sports will be help as a Facebook Live event on the Christian Center’s Facebook page from 6 pm to 7 pm.

This exhibit will feature paintings and illustrations that portray and enforce diversity in snow sports and mountain environments. In White’s words: “…I recall a local business owner remark that ‘black people don’t ski.’ These types of assumptions, experiences, and consequences led me to create the Skiing in Color collection. Where color is normative AND celebrated. Whatever our background and culture, there is much to celebrate. Normalizing [our] differences creates a better environment to live and partake in.”
