A panel event to hear stories from members of the refugee and new American community. This event is hosted by CCPC and the IRC.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City, in collaboration with the Christian Center of Park City (CCPC), will be facilitating a panel event. In this panel discussion, the Executive Director of CCPC, Rob Harter, will meet with members of the refugee and new American community.
Learn about their stories of hope and resilience, while raising the deep need for humanitarian awareness in the world today.
Panelists Include:
- Zubaidah Sadeq Al Lami: New American Entrepreneur, Owner of Zubaidah’s Boutique
- Abdul Azim Kakaie: Housing Specialist at the IRC in Salt Lake City
- Amira Kherrallah: Digital Marketer, Founder PreventHer
- Crystal Bayat: Former Diplomat in Afghanistan, Human Rights Activist, Founder, and President of Crystal Bayat Foundation
Join the Christian Center of Park City (CCPC) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) on May 24 from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm for this opportunity to hear and learn from some of the most resilient individuals in our community.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City opened its doors in 1994. Since then, they have resettled more than 12,000 individuals. The mission of the IRC is to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.
