Bilingual Intern Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Esmeralda’s goal in working with clients is to create a supportive and welcoming space for individuals from diverse backgrounds. She is highly committed to offering bilingual mental health services, ensuring that language is never a barrier to receiving care. Her approach emphasizes understanding each person’s unique story and collaborating with them to foster healing and growth.
Ms. Fonseca graduated from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, where she developed a strong foundation in counseling and mental health support. Since graduating, she has remained dedicated to serving people with empathy, cultural awareness, and a genuine desire to help navigate life’s challenges.
Esmeralda finds energy and inspiration in exploring the world around her. Traveling to new destinations expands her perspective while providing opportunities to learn. Esmeralda enjoys spending time outdoors – skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer, and finding ways to stay active in nature year-round, which she finds grounding and healing. These passions keep her balanced and remind her of the importance of curiosity, connecting to the values she holds as a mental health counselor.
