Empowering Students & Parents

Basic Needs Assistance provides one-on-one support for people experiencing hardships. Each person’s situation is unique, and solutions are provided accordingly. When we can’t provide solutions or help, we refer to partnering agencies who can. The goal is to meet each person where they are, with holistic support. This can include utility assistance, rent assistance, shower vouchers, clothing and home goods, and other basic life necessities. It can also include things that help get or maintain jobs, like clothing for interviews and transportation.

"Thank you for the help. I am now saving up for a used car, which will help me tremendously with my job at Domino’s. The new job is going really well!"

Keys to Success

In 2022, a donor gave us a very well-loved and meticulously maintained Chevy Tahoe, hoping that we could find a family in need to gift it to. Just a few days later, a family came to us who could really use a car to help the parents maintain their jobs and childcare. They were overjoyed when we told them about the Tahoe we’d just received! It was the solution to a few of the stresses they were under.

Three years later, they stopped by CCPC to say hi – still driving that Tahoe! They expressed again how grateful they were and how much they love that vehicle.

When you donate to CCPC, you never know the impact your donation can have on a family in need! This is just one of many stories we frequently hear. Follow us on social media to hear more stories of impact and learn all the ways you can donate to support our mission.
