Elevating the Back 2 School Experience
In 2025, parents spent an average of $740 per child on back-to-school shopping. You can imagine the strain this cost would put on families who were already struggling to make ends meet. Back 2 School Basics offsets some of this expense by providing gift cards, backpacks, and school supplies.
Each participating student receives a $100 gift card for use at participating Junction Commons stores and gets to choose a backpack and school supplies. With brand new supplies and clothing of their choice, students can enter the classroom with confidence!

Back 2 School Basics participation is valued at $150 per child. This huge event is made possible by generous donors and volunteers, and the partnership of Junction Commons outlet mall.
