We are a proud participant in the EpicPromise Chair For Charity event! We are excited to have Josee Nadeau as our artist for our chair!
Here is how you can participate and help raise funds
for our Park City Food Pantry and CCPC:
*Community Vote –Starting Dec. 8th, at noon, voting buckets will be located inside the Kimball Art Center (at their new location at 1401 Kearns Boulevard) for community members to vote on their favorite chair. We ask that you each person cast only one vote – total – for the entire week. The organization with the most community votes will get an extra $1,500 from Vail Resorts.
*Community Bids –Open Tuesday at noon for those who are interested. Bid sheets will be located inside the Kimball. Vail asks that if public bidders want to continue to bid during the private event on Thursday evening, they must work with their designated contact at the organization to create proxy bids. Our contact is Lindsay Kone, lindsay@ccofpc.org
What is Chairs for Charity?
When Park City took down the Motherlode Chair Lift this summer, Vail Resorts kept a few chairs to help support local nonprofits. Over the last several weeks, 18 Park City nonprofit partners have teamed up with Summit County artists to create a unique work of art out of their chair. All of the chairs will be auctioned off at a private event during the evening of December 10.
Thank you!
